The tools, the fibres
and their making in the popular Iblean tradition.
In the laboratory the
students utilize, with the tutelage of experienced people, some
tools used in the past during the different phases of textile
production. The showing of photos and videos illustrates the
history of linen plant, its manufacture till the handmade
production with the loom, and give the opportunity to start a
stimulating dialogue between the practical making and the
course of learning.
